Attendance at Fashion Market Northern California® is restricted to owners and buyers in the retail trade engaged in the sale of women’s and children’s apparel or accessory items.
Two forms of business identification are required. Potential store identification includes:
- Personal identification
- Photostat or original of your retail sales license or resale number.
- Company business card.
- Purchase order or factory invoice copies.
- Proof of commercial checking account (i.e. imprinted checks).
The Show Management, in some cases, may ask for additional identification. Please be prepared to provide this information.
Note: Two guests per store are allowed. Guests must be accompanied by a buyer at all times. Buyer badges are nontransferable. Persons found posing as buyers or using false identification will be escorted from the Market.

San Mateo Health Department regulations do not allow animals in the building, with the exception of seeing eye or service animals. Please leave your pets at home.
Children under the age of 12 will not be allowed in the show area. Infants in front packs or in strollers are the only exception.
I.D. Badges must be worn at all times when in the San Mateo Event Center.
All facility entrances will be staffed by personnel instructed to require current badge identification. Please register upon arrival so your entrance will not be delayed.
The San Mateo Event Center is a smoke-free facility: Please do not smoke anywhere in the building including bathrooms and doors to the outside. Please move at LEAST 20 feet from any doorway to the building. We appreciate your consideration in that matter.
No samples will be allowed to leave the exhibit area during or after show hours. Please do not ask our exhibitors to sell samples; they may be fined or lose the right to participate in the future Fashion Market Northern California® markets.
San Mateo Event Center Restaurant 11:00 am – 3:00 pm, is recommended during show hours.

Convenient parking for Buyers is available in the parking lot of the San Mateo Event Center. Parking fees are $10 per day, cash only accepted.
For guests staying at the Marriott, our host hotel, a complimentary shuttle service is provided, mornings and afternoons.
Coat Check Area
For your convenience, a coat check is available during market in the lobby area from 8:30 am – 6:00 pm Sunday and Monday, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm on Tuesday.
Note: All packages leaving the booth area without release forms must be searched for security reasons. To avoid this, check your packages and luggage at the coat check area.
