Website

Is it really important to have a website when you can have a Facebook page for free? Now that we’ve lived through a shut down, I think we can all agree that YES it’s important. While a website gives you another avenue to make sales, it also does something else very important – it adds credibility to your business.

Your ideal client will likely find your business first on social media. If she wants more information where does she go? Your website. It’s your virtual storefront. Your website should reflect you and your store’s branding and personality. You have a captive audience with nothing else to distract her, so make the most of it.

Customers today want to feel a personal connection with the brands they do business with and they want to know how you’re doing good in the world. Your website is where she’ll discover more about you ( the owner), the products you carry, any special services you offer, blogs or interviews (press) you’ve been featured in, and how you give back.

If you still don’t have a website, build one! You can do it yourself on Shopify.com. If you have one and have not included the services you offer, press you’ve received, and giving back, then add that to your website now.

Happy Creating!
